Beverley Coleclough NDD ATD
Artist // Teacher // Puppeteer
After completing 4 years full-time at Art College, I worked
in London for 5 years in theatre making scenery, props and as
a professional puppeteer. I have also worked freelance work for
the BBC and Granada television.
Since completing my teaching qualification
I have taught Art full-time in schools and Art Colleges for
25 years, whilst producing and exhibiting my own work.
My experiences
of working in the theatre have enabled me to explore the boundaries
of working in a variety of medium and processes.
Key features in
my work are the human form, contrasting aspects of man-made and
natural forms; and more recently since my 6 month Sabbatical in
Australia, an additional collection based on the trees, bark and
leaves of the Northern Territory.
